Dad’s snacking will be satisfied with this classic father favourite Smoky Chunky Guacamole and for those Canna Dad’s go ahead with a modern cannabis kick!
Ingredient Checklist
- 5 ripe Hass avocados, halved and pitted
- 2 limes, halved
- 2 plum tomatoes, halved lengthwise
- 2 serrano chiles
- Two 1/2-inch-thick slices of red onion
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, plus more for brushing
- Kosher salt
- Pepper
- 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Tortilla chips, for serv
Instructions Checklist
Step 1
In a large bowl, toss avocados with the lime halves, tomatoes, chili’s, red onion and 3 TBSP of oil with a pinch of salt and pepper (for infused recipe,use cannaoil)
Step 2
- Light your grill and get the avocados, limes, tomatoes and onion cut side down, along with the whole chilies till charred.
- 8 min for the onion
- 12-15 min for avocados, tomatoes, and chilis
- Scoop out the avocado flesh and chop in a large bowl
- Remove the seeds from the chilies and chop that with the tomatoes into the bowl, then add the cilantro and garlic. Light a grill and oil the grate. Grill the avocados, limes, tomatoes and onion cut side down along with the whole chiles
- Lastly chop the onion and add it to the bowl with cilantro and garlic
- Squeeze the grilled lime over the guacamole, and serve with tortilla chips
